The Knife

The Board

The Elixir
NSF Certified Emmet's Elixir is a special blend of pure food grade Mineral Oil, natural Bees Wax and essential oils from lemon and rosemary. These ingredients combine to achieve two important functions.
First, the Mineral Oil and Bees Wax penetrate and seal the cutting board to keep natural expansion and contraction from occurring. When a board is dry it shrinks and then when the board is washed it gains moisture and swells. This cycle is the main reason for cutting board failure. Emmet's Elixir is the perfect product to protect your board for years to come.
The second important function of Elixir is accomplished through the addition of all natural oil of lemon and rosemary. Research by outside sources have shown this combination of oils increases the Maple Cutting Boards natural ability to fight bacteria. This gives you an added level of protection. With proper cleaning your Hard Maple Board is the safest cutting surface on the market.
