Butcher Block Islands are as varied as peoples personalities. Tops can be from 1 1/4" thick to 6" and more. The length can be easily 144" long and longer if necessary and with widths up to 48" in one piece and wider is sections these tops can be manufactured to fit you needs and desires.
Ash 3" Thick Island Top
This island is a fantastic example of Ash. The color variation in this top reflects both the species and the environment it grew in. All the life in the tree...all the conditions it lived in are in this top. It does show another possibility for a custom island top
1 3/4" Lyptus Island With Bullnose Edge
Edges can make a big difference in the style and feel of your island top. On this Lyptus island we were asked to put a bulnosed edge on it to soften the top both visually and functionally.
